This antique three-and-a-half-meter handmade rug, approximately 40 years old, is a well-crafted example of rural Tuyserkan weaving with the authentic Begerdeh design. Presented in a rectangular format measuring 250 × 150 cm with a total area of 3.75 square meters, it offers a balanced and versatile presence. The floral corner-and-medallion design set on a navy-blue field, complemented by a matching navy border, creates a deep and unified visual atmosphere that maintains focus on the central medallion and the surrounding fine floral details. With a knot density of 30 raj and a wool pile, the rug achieves a practical and well-balanced structure, while the cotton warp and weft enhance stability and durability. An average weight of 4 kg per square meter and an approximate total weight of 15 kg indicate suitable density for daily use as well as for classic and contemporary interior arrangements. Chemical dyeing ensures reliable color stability for routine care and maintenance.
