Augmented Reality LinkThis handmade carpet, dating back nearly forty years, is an authentic example of Bijar weaving and the Gurus (Garrus) design school. Measuring 198 × 132 centimeters with a total area of 2.62 square meters and an approximate weight of 11 kilograms, its strength and well-balanced density are clearly evident. The 30-raj weave, combined with a wool pile and cotton warp and weft, provides dependable durability and quality. The corner-and-medallion design is executed with the Herati (fish) motif and the distinctive geometric structure of the Gurus school, set against a rich red field, while the navy-blue border adds visual depth. In the four corner sections, richly floral vase motifs are depicted, lending balance and notable softness to the overall composition. This carpet can serve as a lasting, identity-defining element in both classic interiors and eclectic arrangements.
