This antique handwoven runner, approximately two and a half meters in length and measuring 270 × 147 cm with a surface area of 3.97 square meters, is a distinguished example of rural weaving from the Zanjan region, featuring the authentic Hupa design. Its age of around 40 years, combined with a 30-raj structure, gives the carpet a mature and well-established character. The combination of geometric Lachak-Toranj motifs with a uniform navy-blue field and a harmonized border creates a deep, calm, and well-ordered visual atmosphere, making it a thoughtful choice for corridors, elongated spaces, or classic interior layouts. The use of natural wool pile alongside cotton warp and weft provides a soft yet durable texture that has retained its form and quality over time. An approximate weight of 16 kg and an average density of 4 kg per square meter indicate strong structural integrity and suitability for long-term use; a functional piece with a strong, rooted visual identity.
