This antique three-meter handwoven rug, measuring 230 × 141 cm with an area of 3.25 square meters, is a distinguished example of rural Zanjan weavings featuring the authentic Houpa design, dating back approximately 40 years. The Lachak–Toranj structure is integrated with the mahi motif, creating a fluid and dynamic composition across the field; the motifs flow continuously over the deep navy ground, adding notable visual depth. A knot density of 30 raj reflects careful execution and a balanced relationship between durability and finesse. The wool pile combined with cotton warp and weft provides a soft yet resilient texture suitable for long-term use. The gray border, with its calmer design, enhances the field motifs and establishes a well-judged color harmony. With an approximate weight of 13 kg and 4 kg per square meter, this rug is well suited for larger spaces with everyday use and refined, minimalist interiors.
