Nahavand Rug Ref 708079
This vintage three-meter handwoven rug is a distinguished example of the traditional weavings of Nahavand. With an age of approximately 40 years, it clearly reflects the authenticity of the design and the rural identity of the region. Measuring 206 × 135 cm with a total area of 2.79 square meters, it is a balanced choice for living rooms or medium-sized spaces. The rug is woven with a density of 30 raj, indicating solid durability and a well-organized execution of motifs. With an approximate weight of 12 kg and an average of 4 kg per square meter, it offers a good balance between durability and ease of handling. The floral corner-and-medallion (lachek–toranj) design on a soft pinkish field creates a warm and gentle atmosphere, while the camel-colored border adds a mild contrast and pleasing visual harmony. The use of wool pile together with cotton warp and weft enhances the natural feel and reliable functionality of the rug, making it suitable for everyday use while retaining decorative value.
