Nahavand Rug Ref 708081
This vintage two-and-a-half-meter handwoven rug, with an age of approximately 40 years, is an authentic representation of rural carpet weaving from the Nahavand region. Measuring 198 × 136 cm with a total area of 2.7 square meters, it offers a well-balanced size suitable for living rooms or medium-sized interiors. The rug is woven with a density of 30 raj, which preserves the delicacy of the floral motifs while providing solid strength and durability. Its approximate weight of 11 kg, with an average of 4 kg per square meter, ensures a stable and well-set presence on the floor. The wool pile combined with cotton warp and weft creates a balance of softness, flexibility, and structural stability. The peach-colored field paired with a camel-toned border produces a warm and inviting atmosphere, while chemical dyeing has ensured uniformity and color stability. This rug is a suitable choice for everyday use while maintaining a traditional and calming character in interior décor.
