Its rectangular structure with a 30-raj weave shows a balanced relationship between strength and fineness. The multi-medallion composition with geometric motifs creates a steady yet dynamic rhythm across the field, guiding the eye gradually throughout the carpet. Set on a lacquer-red ground, the piece exemplifies the fully geometric, symbolic visual language of Shiraz weavers. The field is filled with vegetal motifs, all rendered in angular, geometric forms—flowers and plants dispersed rhythmically to create a lively, narrative atmosphere. The border is inspired by the Doustkami pattern, characterized by the repetition of two crenellated leaves and a chalice.
