Augmented Reality LinkThis nomadic handwoven carpet, dating back approximately 15 years, is a distinguished example of authentic weavings from Fars Province with the visual identity of Shiraz. Measuring 264 × 180 cm with an area of 4.76 m², it is rectangular in format and a practical choice for living rooms or medium-sized spaces. The 30-raj structure achieves a balanced combination of decorative refinement and structural strength, reflecting the weaver’s skill in executing geometric motifs. The lacquer-red ground is covered with a sequence of orderly, repeated medallions that create a dynamic yet cohesive visual rhythm. A cream-colored border with broken geometric motifs provides a carefully judged contrast, enhancing the clarity of the design. The use of wool for both pile and warp, combined with a cotton weft, results in a warm, flexible, and durable texture. An approximate weight of 15 kg further indicates the carpet’s desirable density and solid construction quality.
