Augmented Reality LinkThis antique tribal handwoven carpet, with an age of approximately 40 years, is a distinguished example of authentic weavings from Fars Province, inspired by the ancient traditions of Shiraz. Measuring 260 × 174 cm with a surface area of 4.53 square meters, it belongs to the four-and-a-half-meter category and brings a warm, powerful presence to medium and large living spaces. The 30-raj structure reflects the weaver’s skill and precision in executing the geometric Lachak–Toranj design—motifs that, with their broken order and dynamic character, emphasize the nomadic identity of the carpet. The red (laki) field combined with a multicolored border creates an energetic and vivid composition reminiscent of nature and nomadic life. The use of wool pile and wool warp with a cotton weft provides strength, flexibility, and pleasant warmth, while the balanced weight makes it suitable for everyday use.
