Augmented Reality LinkIn this three-meter carpet, woven nearly forty years ago, the designer’s primary focus has been on extending geometric rhythm across the entire field—an approach commonly found in many rural Zanjan weavings. Measuring 224 × 132 centimeters with an area of 2.96 square meters, it is well suited for living spaces. The 30-raj weave creates a uniform and orderly structure throughout the warp and weft. A wool pile combined with cotton warp and weft, along with an approximate weight of 12 kilograms, indicates a well-balanced density. The navy ground provides a deep setting for small, repetitive geometric forms, while the blue border with angular, broken motifs establishes a calm yet clearly defined boundary between field and frame. Chemical dyeing has preserved the stability of both dark and light tonal ranges. This carpet is suitable for spaces seeking a simple, structured, and distinctly rural expression.
