Augmented Reality LinkThis nomadic handwoven carpet, approximately 20 years old, is a distinguished example of the authentic weavings of Fars Province, rooted in Shiraz traditions and produced in the Arab-baf (Arab weaving) manner. Measuring 294 × 208 cm with an area of 6.12 m², it belongs to the six-meter category and is a practical, impactful choice for large and formal spaces. The rectangular format and a fine 30-raj structure achieve a balanced interplay of durability and motif legibility. A multi-medallion composition arranged with orderly geometry establishes a strong visual center, guiding the eye progressively across the surface. The field is filled with boteh motifs and small trees with triangular leaves or flowers, arranged like a flourishing garden. The central medallion motif, a traditional Persian–Luri element, is a characteristic feature of Arab Charepanlou carpets. The lacquer-red ground conveys warmth and solidity, harmonized by a cream-colored border that creates a calm, measured contrast. Wool used for both pile and warp, together with a cotton weft, provides a pleasant hand, resilience, and suitability for continuous use. An approximate weight of 19 kg indicates desirable density and reliable construction quality.
