Augmented Reality LinkThis nomadic handwoven carpet, with an age of approximately 35 years, is a distinguished example of the carpet-weaving art of Fars Province and the authentic traditions of Shiraz, presented within a powerful Lachak–Toranj structure. Measuring 284 × 173 cm with an area of 4.92 m², it is well suited to mid-sized spaces, offering a strong yet controlled presence in interior settings. The 30-raj construction reflects a regular and reliable weave that, together with the wool pile, conveys warmth and structural strength. The combination of a wool warp and cotton weft is a key characteristic of the region’s nomadic weaving, enhancing durability. The motifs include birds, animals, flowers, and other geometric elements such as stars, commonly found in Shiraz carpets. The lacquer-red field with broken geometric motifs creates a dynamic rhythm, while the cream border provides visual contrast and draws focus toward the center.
